One version number covers every edition, and the edition is shown as a word, for example ONEP Lite. How the number changes is described in Updates.

Version 1.0.0#

Community and Lite come in one build. The appliance runs as Community until a Lite license is installed in Settings › Licensing. An appliance with no license runs as Community. When a paid license ends, the appliance keeps its edition for a grace period and then runs as Community. The full comparison is in Limits per edition.

What the release includes#

  • Appliance: an OVA that imports into Proxmox VE and VMware Workstation. The appliance creates its own TLS certificate on first boot, shows a console banner with the edition, version and address, and grows its file system when you enlarge its virtual disk. You create the administrator password yourself, then complete a first-time setup.
  • Canvas: router images, virtual machines and containers in one environment. Links between devices, shared segments on the native switch, and a cloud node for NAT or bridge. Navy, Graphite and White themes.
  • Environments: power on, power off, restart, reset to first boot, and suspend and resume for virtual machines.
  • Content Hub: ready environments and ranges from a card and a wizard with a Resolved plan step, and a check against your appliance before a deploy.
  • Centrum and Discover: the image library on your appliance, downloads from the vendor, and image recognition by fingerprint.
  • Migration Hub: import EVE-NG, GNS3 and Packet Tracer files, and public GitHub repositories, one import at a time.
  • AI Generator: describe a network in English. Choose a model on the appliance or an external AI service on your own account.
  • Consoles and packet capture: a browser console for every device, and capture on a link with pcap download.
  • Remote access: WireGuard, Cloudflare Tunnel, Tailscale and Dynamic DNS, by edition.
  • Administration: licensing, users and multi-factor authentication, status and diagnostics, Report a Problem and encrypted diagnostic bundles. The appliance is updated by installing a new ONEP release; Backup & restore and the Reset actions are not part of this release.
