A to C#

AI Generator
The builder that turns a plain-English description into a topology, using the AI source set in Settings. It builds topologies; it does not chat.
AI source
Where the AI Generator gets its model: Model on this appliance or External AI service (your own account). Set in Settings › AI. The Status page lists the model as the ONEP Assistant, Connected or Not connected.
Appliance
Either the ONEP virtual machine you import, or a single-device Content Hub card, such as a monitoring product, as opposed to a multi-device range.
Blueprint, card
One tile in the Content Hub, representing one deployable appliance or range. A card can have several variants, for example different Active Directory topologies.
Bridge
A cloud node mode in which the environment joins your real network, as if plugged into your switch.
Build
The first deploy of a Content Hub card on your appliance, which downloads the card's parts from the vendor and prepares a ready image. Later deploys reuse it. A built card is marked built.
Centrum
The image library on your appliance. It has two tabs: My Centrum, the images you have, and Discover. Centrum is about images; the Content Hub is about whole environments.
Class
A Centrum column that groups images by kind of device, such as Router or Firewall.
Cloud node
The device, added as a Cloud, that connects an otherwise sealed environment to anything outside it, through NAT or Bridge.
Community
The free edition, and what the appliance runs without a license or after a paid license ends. See Limits per edition.
Console
The in-browser terminal or desktop of a device, or the shell of a container.
Expose Containers
A device menu row that opens an app from an environment in your browser. Which devices can be exposed depends on the edition.

D to L#

Diagnostic bundle
A file you collect in Settings › Diagnostics with Collect diagnostic bundle and send to support yourself. Collecting it sends nothing.
Discover
The Centrum tab where you download images straight from their vendors to your appliance.
Edition
Community, Lite or Pro, set by the license file. Every edition runs the same appliance and the same version.
Environment
A topology and the devices, links and switches in it, whatever built it.
Fingerprint
The hash ONEP uses to recognize an image. It is shown in the image details.
Grace period
The time after a paid license expires during which the appliance keeps its edition. Settings › Licensing shows the date it ends. After it, the appliance runs as Community.
Install ID
A random identity each appliance creates for itself, shown in Settings › Licensing. A license issued for an install ID is valid on that appliance only.
Cisco IOL
A Cisco router and switch image type. It is bring-your-own-license: ONEP does not supply, sell or verify Cisco licenses.
License
The signed file onep.lic that sets the edition and its limits. It is not a login.
License check-in
A card in Settings › Licensing. In this release it reads Not active on this build: the appliance sends nothing.
Lite
The single-user paid edition. It runs all single-device Content Hub cards. See Limits per edition.

M to R#

Management interface
The one network interface of the appliance, and the address you sign in on. Set in Settings › Network.
Migration Hub
The importer that brings EVE-NG, GNS3 and Packet Tracer files, and public GitHub repositories, onto the ONEP canvas as environments. It runs one import at a time.
NAT
A cloud node mode that gives an environment outbound internet access, from the shared address space, without exposing it.
Native switch
ONEP's built-in virtual switch: no image, no extra memory, no license. Cable devices to it to build a shared segment.
Nested virtualization
Hardware virtualization that your hypervisor passes through to the ONEP appliance. Virtual machine devices need it; routers and containers do not.
Powered on
The device is running. Whether the system inside is ready is shown by its console.
Pro
The largest edition: more users, more devices running at once, no device size limit and multi-device ranges. See Limits per edition.
Range
A multi-device Content Hub environment, such as an Active Directory attack range. Ranges are larger and need a bigger host.
Recipe
The definition behind a Content Hub card: its install steps, images and sizing. An image the appliance built shows Built here from an ONEP recipe.
Register to ONEP
A Centrum action for an image of your own. ONEP fingerprints it and recognizes identical images in future.
Reset
The device menu row Reset.... It returns a device to its first boot, discarding its changes. Not the same as Restart.
Resolved plan
The step of the Content Hub wizard that shows the vCPU, memory and disk of every device before you deploy, and lets you change them.
Restart
A power cycle. The device keeps its disk and configuration.

S to Z#

Sealed
The default state of every environment: no path to the ONEP host, your network or other environments until you open a door.
Shared address space (100.64.0.0/10)
The range (RFC 6598) a cloud node in NAT mode uses to give an environment outbound internet access. It is the same range Tailscale uses, so avoid overlap.
Source
A Centrum column showing where an image came from: Vendor, Community or ONEP. A dash means none of these applies, for example an image you added yourself.
Suspend
Freezes a virtual machine in memory so it can continue later from the same point (Resume). Virtual machines only.
Variant
The Content Hub wizard step where you choose an edition of an appliance or a topology of a range.
Vendor switch
A switch image from a vendor, such as a Cisco IOL Layer 2 image, used instead of the native switch when you need that switch's own behavior. Bring-your-own-license.
Verified
A Centrum column. A mark means ONEP recognized the image by its fingerprint.
